About Wellsville Days

YOUR WELLSVILLE DAYS COMMITTEE

Paul and Melanie

Paul and Melanie Good live on the outskirts of Wellsville, where they enjoy their little niche in the country.  They moved here in 2005, looking for the slower pace of a small town, after living most of their lives in Olathe. They both graduated from Olathe North High School, although didn't meet until years later.  Married in 2002, they have 7 children all together.  Though their lives are busy, they enjoy every minute of it! Paul is a machinist, and Melanie is a nurse; both work in Olathe.  They enjoy travel (day trips, as well as longer excursions), raising chickens and other various farm animals, music and of course, all those children.
This husband and wife team hope to bring some fresh and exciting ideas to the Wellsville Days Committee, and have a particular interest in expanding entertainment at Wellsville Days.

Alicia Bio

Alicia is a small town girl who loves to be able to call Wellsville home. Throughout her life she has lived in many places, Osawatomie KS, Paola KS, Coffeyville KS, and Lake of the Ozarks MO, where she graduated from high school. She has been married to Jeff for thirteen years. In 2009, they were excited to be able to purchase their first home in Wellsville. They have three sons, Trevor, Austin and Coy. Their family loves to be involved in the community. They enjoy spending time at home, riding their bikes in town, camping in the summers, and playing sports. During the school season they love to attend Wellsville Eagles sporting events together.

Alicia looks forward to meeting new people, being more involved in the community of Wellsville, and just seeing the people come together more than ever. She would like to see the traditions continue to be carried on to the next generations. Raising her children in Wellsville just like her husband was, is something that really means a lot to Alicia.

Amanda was born and raised in Wellsville. She moved back to Wellsville in April 2010.   She is the 4th generation in her family that has graduated from Wellsville School District. She graduated from Baker University in 2001. She lived in New Jersey for a year and a half, and then moved to Gardner, KS  for 7 years before moving back to Wellsville. In her free time, Amanda loves traveling, shopping, reading, spending time with her family and friends, going to the movies, and playing softball or basketball and running.  She has worked as a nanny for the last six and a half years.

Christina

Christina was born in Southern California and lived in Chicago previously to moving to Kansas. She was home schooled through high school and earned her A.A.S. from Johnson County Community College in 2005. Christina has volunteered as a Girl Scout leader and Wellsville troop mentor for several years. She currently is a committee member and treasurers for Cub Scout Pack 3063. Her husband of thirteen year, Matthew Mignot, introduced her to small town living. They moved to Wellsville in 2004 to raise their children Emery and Cass. The importance of tradition and family values is one reason they chose to live in Wellsville. Christina looks forwards to providing roots for her children and teaching them the importance of community.
